The Admin noticeboard is one way for users to notify administrators of issues requiring administrative attention. Users are also welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), but posting here can more reliably ensure that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond promptly. Remember to sign when posting an issue.

  • This is NOT the place for in game/Hi-Rez account issues or bug reporting. SMITE Wiki is a community maintained website and no one here can help you. This type of issues should be posted on either the Techinal Support or the Bug Reports sections at the Official Forums.
  • Post only issues that require administrative action, eg. blocking vandals, protecting pages, or restoring deleted pages.
  • Do not post deletion requests here. Add {{Delete}} to the top of the target page instead. In most cases, add the delete tag, rather than replacing the entire page content with it, so that administrators can easily verify that the content was deletable.
  • Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.

Vandalism Reports: Posting here should be a last resort. Revert first, as anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene.

Administrators: Indefinite blocks should generally not be used, except in cases of confirmed incessant spam bots. Blatantly malicious registered users with a clear intent to continue vandalizing should receive a 6-month to one-year block. When the intent to continue vandalizing is not completely apparent, or for non-vandalism cases that still require disciplinary action, use warnings and/or escalating block lengths, beginning with days or weeks.

Current Issues

Change how item/god stats are stored so that editing one location will update all instances of that item

While working to update item pages to match 6.1 stats, I noticed multiple edits had to be made per page, and multiple pages had to be edited to update one item. For example, you have to edit both the infobox and the tier section on BlackthornHammer T3 Blackthorn Hammer to get that page current, but Blackthorn Hammer also appears on the Shillelagh and Cudgel T1 Cudgel item pages, and has to be edited there as well.

A database should be made so that item stats can be updated there, then all other places should use pointers to the database instead of manually adding the stats. This will let the wiki be updated much more efficiently when items are changed in patches.

Can't make a new page

Hey,

i've wanted to create an sandbox on my porfile to make a rough draft for the Battle Pass page, since im pretty new to the wiki stuff. I've started by making an copy of Legend of Camelot and edited it from there. This post got marked as "harmful", because the automated system said i've tried to post a phone number. this even happens with an 1:1 copy of Legend of Camelot. Greetings --Tomelyr (talk) 06:44, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
