== Thanatos Note ==

You should add a note on Thanatos's 2. The bonus movespeed (from low health target) from Thanatos's 2 is the only thing that affects the movespeed of his ultimate. [[Special:Contributions/67.190.139.85|67.190.139.85]] 12:14, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

:Will do, though you should consider adding it yourself. Anyone can edit the pages, no need to be afraid. To add notes you just add "<br>|abilityextra={{*}}</nowiki>" bellow the "abilitymisc#", then type the note you want to add to it. For more that one note, add "<nowiki><br></nowiki>" (to force the text to go down.) followed by a "<nowiki>{{*}}</nowiki>" (to add the blue bullet: {{*}}).--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 18:16, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

== Red buff change ==

Apparently, red buff doesn't just give 20% power anymore like described [http://http://smite.gamepedia.com/Jungle here]. It now also multiplies the base basic attack damage by 1.2.<br />

e.g. Anhur with 240 power, 330 basic attack damage (90 without items)<br />

With red buff (240+5)*1.2=294 power, basic attack damage becomes 90*1.2 + (240+5)*1.2 = 402 power<br />

If it just multiplied power, he would have basic attack damage of 384.<br />

It's similar to how Rod of Tahuti works. I added a note there. When used together, it's additive, so basic attack damage is (base attack damage*1.45 + 20% of power).

This was reported as a bug at least a year ago [http://www.reddit.com/r/SMITEbug/comments/1utwgg/abnormal_interaction_with_magical_god_basic/ here], but it's probably intended based on the [http://forums.smitegame.com/showthread.php?23060-Rod-of-Tahuti-wrongly-gives-extra-basic-attack-damage response] in the official forums.

:That's a really weird interaction, but it seems to be true so it is something worth mentioning. Thanks for the addition.--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 04:24, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

== About Medusa's stats ==

I have all my numbers from within the game. You took the wrong numbers. Base numbers are values at level ZERO. Her base health is 470 (+77 per level), which equals a health of 547 at level 1. Her base health is NOT 547. The same goes for every other stat. Her base attack speed is 0.95, not 0.96.

This is very easy to verify because every god has 30 magical protection base, but you wrote down 31, which is 30 + 0.9 * level.

:You are wrong. They have always been shown like this and not every god has 30 magical protection. Take Apollo for instance. If you trully doubt me this much, why do you go and compare several hunters & the info on their stats page on practice?--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 17:22, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

::Apollo has a base magical protection of 30, just like EVERY other god. [http://smite.gamepedia.com/Apollo Even his page on this wiki says so] (and he also has 30 ingame BTW). Look at this handy spreadsheet ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15HqX3_rmU5ZeJpOi2ls3pp-_vYsAqJBDfqc8Z-XmmGA ) at the column BaseMagProt. As you can see, EVERY god has 30 base magical protection. You are looking at his level 1 stats instead of his base stats. For example, you wrote Medusa has 5 MP5 base, but this is wrong. Go into jungle practice and you will see she has 4.7 at level 1 (base 4.45, 0.25 per level). Another easy test is attack speed. All AS% increases are based of off her base AS, which is 0.95 (not 0.96). At level 1, give her exactly 100% AS (Asi, Ichaival, Soul Eater, Fatalis) and she is shown ingame as 1.91 (0.95 + 0.95*1*1.4% + 0.95 * 100% = 1.9133 ~ 1.91). With a base of 0.96 (and 0.96 at level one because your numbers don't make any sense), she'd gain 0.96 from items and be at 1.92 attacks per second. Ask Flareb00t if you don't believe me. Adding to that: Medusa has the same base attack speed and scaling as Artemis (you can easily see that their values are the same both at level 1, 20 and with any combination of items). Look at [http://smite.gamepedia.com/Artemis Artemis' wiki page]. See? It says 0.95 (+1.4%). Medusa's wikipage needs to be changed to also say 0.95. :::That is how it was, not how it is. Gods now display their stats from the beginning instead of from level 0. If you go into the game (Gods, pick any character, then stats) you can see it for yourself. Medusa's page isn't the one that needs to be corrected, but all other ones.--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 18:17, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

::::So you acknowledge that the wiki pages are inconsistent. Ingame, you actually see a number on top where you can select a level from 1 to 20. You can not select level 0. Therefore, the base stat is never shown in the game. Smite itself has no way of showing you a character's base values. The values you see in Smite are NOT the base values. At any rate, I HIGHLY SUGGEST leaving the base values there for all gods on the wiki, and changing Medusa to also display base values. Because all calculations (such as attack speed % from items) are based on those. And anyone trying to use this wiki to calculate attack speed (or anything else) will make an error if you show level 1 stats here. You linked to an official HiRez site with the base stats earlier. There's a reason HiRez put the level 0 (=base stats) there (even though they changed a little and they haven't updated the page). In other words. Base Stats = Level 0 stats. Even if they are not visible in the game, it is still the correct base value that should be here on the wiki. --[[User:S1eth|S1eth]] ([[User talk:S1eth|talk]]) 18:50, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

:The wiki is supposed to remain consistent with that's on the game and not their website, that includes any mistakes they might make. Things have been done this way for years. If they changed the way the game is displayed then its only proper to keep the site consistent with it. The only reason I haven't done it yet is because I've been busy with other wikis, and other things beyond gamepedia otherwise it'd be all done by now.--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 19:47, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

:Also I saw that one edit you made that the automatic filters caught: "His defense is shown as 30 both in the site and in game". Are you sure? My game must be bugged then. If you really haven't gone and looked into the stats in game, please do so before continuing to argue about it not being true. I got no reasons to lie about such a simpel topic, and you are getting nothing from being lazy and refusng to verify what you claim.--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 20:25, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

::"The wiki is supposed to remain consistent with that's on the game and not their website, that includes any mistakes they might make". This statement makes no sense. The game does not show you base stats, but IT NEVER CLAIMS to do so. It lets you select a level from 1 to 20 and calculate your stats at that level. If you want to add a field to the wiki that allows you to select your level and calculate the stats to mimick what Smite does, go ahead. But arbitrarily choosing the stats at a level that happens to be 1 and copy & pasting them in here is simply wrong in many ways. A wiki is supposed to provide information, not obfuscate it. Nowhere does it say that the numbers are from level 1. And even if they were, it's unintuitive and simply annoying for everyone viewing the page, because now they have to manually calculate the base stats for everything because this wiki decided to put in the wrong numbers on purpose. You are not even being consistent with the game here. Are you really out to intentionally make this wiki worse!? For what reason!? --[[User:S1eth|S1eth]] ([[User talk:S1eth|talk]]) 22:20, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

::The ingame stats clearly show AT LEVEL 1: 31 (0.9), LEVEL 2: 32 (0.9), etc. This means it clearly shows 30 base. --[[User:S1eth|S1eth]] ([[User talk:S1eth|talk]]) 22:20, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

:::Since you seem to be confused I'll try explaining this again: Up until medusa's update the game used to show stats from zero onwards, now it shows them from 1 onwards, this is the only reason why it was displayed like that here, and now that this is no longer how they are displayed they must be changed. Apart from needing to change the values to keep the stat display consistent with that of the game, there is also the issue of being unable to know exactly what the values are due to lack of decimals on the originals, which while not an issue with the current known values it will be an issue with future releases, we can't make values up and hope they are right or "close enough", close enough is not good enough. It needs to be changed to how it is now for this and for what I mentioned earlier. You apparently didn't know this is how it used to be and think that Medusa is the odd one in the bunch, but that is not the case. I'm hoping that this time you understand what the situation is, and that its not just me stopping you from doing what you want just for the hell of it. "You aren't being consistent here.", how can the site be less consistent by displaying exactly the same information you can find in the game, and how is it more consistent to show and outdated format than the one the game uses? I don't think you are thinking your arguments and sentences anymore...--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 22:37, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

::::As I said, you have to make it abundantly clear that the stats displayed are at level 1 and not the base stats as everyone coming here would expect. Smite has a "level" field. If you really wanted to be consistent with the game, you'd add that as well. The current wiki format is not "outdated", it is CORRECT. The stats section's purpose is to show the BASE + SCALING. The Smite stat screen was not created for the same purpose. It was not designed to show base stats. It was designed to show you stats at any level that you can manually input. That said, you do not have to make assumptions about base values. I was able to calculate Medusa's base values just from their Patch Notes video alone. And even if it were more tricky: the base values are in the game files and can be datamined if necessary. There is absolutely no benefit to switching from base values to level 1 values. It will just confuse everyone. --[[User:S1eth|S1eth]] ([[User talk:S1eth|talk]]) 23:04, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

==Nox Trivia==

Due to Nox at least receiving a minor change to every one of her abilities no less than twice, is it enough to warrant inclusion in her trivia that she had a different set of abilities even earlier than her "original", perhaps including the old original abilities that differed significantly for posterity? --[[Special:Contributions/76.17.179.142|76.17.179.142]] 01:39, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

:She only got one and half new abilities (Her passive and a partial rework of her ultimate), with the rest receiving balance changes, it's not really enough to warrant a page nor a mention really. Take for example Hou Yi's Divebomb, Bastet's partial "rework" or Ne Zha's 3 different passive abilities. This would be something more fitting of a "character changelog", but we don't have that (I always thought of making such an addition, but I already have way too many things to take care off to add one more to the list.).--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 01:53, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

== Executioner Nemesis ==

Regarding the "Let me ax[e] you a question" voiceline for Executioner Nemesis.

"Ax" is used in American English as both a [https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ax#English/ verb and a noun]. Elsewhere, "Axe" is used as both. Since Hi-Rez has used "Axe" in all ability descriptions (See [[Chaac]]), they clearly identify with using that spelling throughout the game. Why would they use "Axe" for the noun and "Ax" for the verb? That kind of disparity doesn't exist.

:But it does, or so I've been taught. And every other mention of axe has refered to actual axes, not the action of using an axe on someone or decapitating them. Either way is valid for it to be and not a typo.--[[User:Malvodion|Malvodion]] ([[User talk:Malvodion|talk]]) 00:29, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
