Changes: Season 3 Ranked

Ranked is a system in SMITE designed to provide higher quality matches for competitive players. The current season of competitive play is Season 3, that began with the release of SMITE Version 3.1.3217 on February 2, 2016.

Description

Ranked allows competitive players to compete against each other. At the end of a Season, players receive greater rewards based upon their placement. Special Achievements for playing Ranked award Limited skins.

Ranked is broken up into 5 Tiers, with 5 Divisions each, and a Grandmaster Tier. Players earn a special Ranked Icon that automatically upgrades to the highest Tier as you climb the ladder.

As you win Ranked games, you earn Tribute. At 100 Tribute, your next win will advance you up into a new Division. Occasionally you may be promoted up more than one division, if your play has been exceptional. Losing Ranked games will deduct Tribute. If you lose enough games at 0 Tribute, you may be demoted down one Division.

You must have mastered at least 18 gods and be level 30 to play. Only mastered gods may be selected in Ranked. Ranked matches may be queued for as solo or parties of two or three. Players queueing together must be within one tier of each other,. Players still in Qualifying may queue as together, or players in Qualifying may queue with another player who is in Bronze, Silver, or Gold Tier.
